Gov. Joet urges mayors to utilize 15,900 hours while in office

Re-elected Bataan Governor Jose Enrique S. Garcia III asked elected local officials to make the most of the 15, 900 hours allotted them while in public office.

The governor said this after the mass oathtaking ceremonies of elected local officials to support government programs like the EduChild program, public health initiatives like the Seal of Healthy Barangay, housing program and the adoption of Government Performance System to promote good governance.

Gov. Joet also urged barangay officials to either complete or review and update their Barangay Development Master plan to avail of barangay incentives.

Congressman Albert Raymond S. Garcia, for his part asked local officials to minimize or steer clear of politics and theatrics “para umangat ang ating panunungkulan.” He particularly urged everyone to support 1Bataan and keep its spirit burning to bring progress to the province.

Congresswoman Gila Garcia profusely expressed gratitude to supporters, community leaders, and the media for achieving good public image and bringing important “good news” to her constituents in the 3rd Congressional District.
